  The selection is pretty good for a small supermarket, including products for special dietary requirements. The only issue was the milk carton I bought leaked a bit into my bag on the way home; it's been decanted into a tea pot I found in my hotel apartment's cupboards.

  Best Xpress IGA I've been to. The Deli is jam packed full of food ready to eat along with fresh banana bread available everyday. It is convenient not only to the local of Bowen Hills, but also the crowds coming to the Show grounds and RBWH

  For a small IGA there's a really good range of products; including gourmet smallgoods, ready to eat meals and the usual. I was surprised to find a good variety of different cheeses, European sausages and even vegan products. If you want to cook up a quick meal and can't be bothered driving to and dealing with huge supermarkets, this is a saviour. Everything is clean and fresh. Staff are friendly and offer quick service. Great for locals or if you just want to grab a sandwich and drink. The prices are average for an inner city store; not cheap but not the worst either. For $50 I can survive on their food for a few days. Also if you run out of something they're usually sure to stock it. Opening hours are great too, both for morning people and night owls like me!
